Baseline Survey on the Socio-Economics conditions of Rural-Urban Migrants in Bangalore.

Data collection of a pilot study is currently in progress with a 145 samples of migrant families settled in 3 different clusters in Bangalore being collected. The Survey was conducted with the support of The Concerned for Working Children (CWC) and select PES University MBA Students. The Complete project is to collect a detailed baseline data from 3400 samples from 34 clusters of migrant settlements across Bangalore. The findings of the survey was presented by Dr Veena Andini at the ‘Social Transformation and Cultural Change in South Asia from the Perspectives of the Socio-Economic Periphery’, an international conference organised by Daito Bunka University at Tokyo, Japan. 13th & 14th Nov 2015. Projects

'Reuters India Strategy' (at Thomson Reuters)

The objective of the project was to create a complete Mergers & Acquisition database of 880 Indian public listed companies between 1970-2005. This was an ambitious project at Reuters M&A as this would create an entire historical M&A database of Indian companies (like parties involved, deal size, type of deal, value and various other related data), and this information would be available on Reuters 3000Xtra and Reuters Knowledge Financial data products. Having researched secondary data and captured more than 3500 M&A Deals within 3 months, I was awarded the “Reuters Living FAST Recognition Award” for the project.

'SQENZ RFID Solutions' (Jointly at Savinirs Infotech Pvt Ltd and Savinirs Electronics Pvt Ltd)

Involved in the development and execution of SQENZ RFID Solutions at several international Sports, Concert, and fashion events, like IPL, Derby, Santana concert, Formula One, Gionee India's Slimmest Mobile Launch, etc to name a few. Provided product ideation and consulting on a unique solution to track the entry and exit of participants at the events and integrate their social media accounts with the RFID solution developed by Savinirs for Social Media Branding.

'RNS-ERP' (at Savinirs Infotech Pvt Ltd)

The scope of the project was to carry out a complete Operational analysis of Rise & Shine Insulation Contracting CO and MNC having operations in 5 locations across middle-east and India, and document a detailed customized ERP solution for software development. As a consultant, my scope of work included a detailed Field visit at various locations in Doha, Dubai, Sharjah, Abu-Dhabi, and Bangalore, analyzing their current operations at these locations and provide a solution to integrate the entire operations under one Umbrella ERP solution. The Objective of the project was to streamline all functional activities like HR, Visa processing, Accounting, Production, inventory management, CRM at Rise & Shine, and reduce the overall operations cost by 30% across these locations.

'Carbonpod ' (Jointly at Savinirs Infotech Pvt Ltd and Savinirs Electronics Pvt Ltd)

As a Project Manager of this Automobile Fuel Consumption Management system. I was involved in the complete end-to-end execution of this pilot study on 20 Busses of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation. The project included creating the Spec of the software platform, developing a GPRS & GPS enabled electronic device that was integrated with fuel consumption meters installed on Passenger Busses, developing necessary mathematical models to generate desired outputs based on the data inputs from the electronic system. The ambitious project enabled the client to capture complete data relating to the fuel consumed by the bus, Location of the bus, carbon emission, the speed at which the bus was being driven, and other details for 30 days.

'MTQats' (at Savinirs Infotech Pvt Ltd)

This software application development project used by a leading medical transcription company in India, scope of work included understanding the complete process of MT processing and file approval process, providing a complete solution to carry out the process and to build the software platform to facilitate the process tracking and quality control. As part of the project manager, I was involved in complete business requirement analysis, documentation of requirements, providing consultancy on creating an efficient application to streamline the process and help improve the quality of the client's production by reducing their error rate by 20%-30%.
